FROM EXISTING FORESTS

A waste stream, not a new plantation

We sustainably harvest Bio Gold pine pollen from pine trees in existing forestry operations. In that way we utilise a waste stream and convert it into natural health products.

As a company, we have committed to donating a percentage of future profits towards community-based native forest restoration initiatives — including native tree planting, weed control, pest eradication, and other conservation projects that protect healthy biodiverse ecosystems here in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Packaging choices and restoration

We're committed to reducing waste and protecting our planet — from the bottle on your shelf to native forest projects we intend to support.

  1. Packaging

    Recyclable where we can

    Our bottles, vials, jars, cards, and boxes are fully recyclable. We also use recycled cardboard and recyclable glass where it fits the product. Courier bags are biodegradable and compostable.

  2. Disposal

    How to recycle Bio Gold packs

    To dispose of packaging properly, remove all labels, rubber, and lids first — those parts are not recyclable with the main pack.

  3. Conservation

    Native biodiversity projects

    If you have a conservation or native biodiversity project you would like considered for funding, email info@pinepollen.co.nz for an application form.
