Using New Zealand-harvested pine pollen, Carl and the team created some prototype pine pollen products which were very highly regarded by early consumers who reported significant positive improvements in a variety of health conditions. We’ve combined modern science with ancient botanical knowledge to develop our 100% New Zealand made pine pollen products.
The Bio Gold Team works closely with Callaghan Innovation, Scion Research, Victoria University's School of Biological Sciences and many others. They received funding through the Ministry for Primary Industries’ Sustainable Food and Fibre Futures fund for a project aimed at laying the foundations for a pine pollen industry in New Zealand. Our comprehensive Research & Development programme involves some of New Zealand’s top scientists & technology experts.
